Nandamuri Balakrishna's birthday falls on June 10. While his fans are expecting a cracker of an update from the makers of 'Akhanda', the actor has urged them to stay away from travelling to meet him on the occasion.
"Every year, you come from different places to wish me. This year, the coronavirus pandemic is staring us in the face. Therefore, I urge you not to meet me. If even one fan is at the risk of catching the infection, it would pain me," the 'Legend' and 'Simha' actor said. "I want you to be happy with your family," he added.
So, Balayya's birthday celebrations are going to be low-key.
'Akhanda', directed by Boyapati Srinu, will release later this year. Producer Miryala Ravinder Reddy recently said that the 'Vinaya Vidheya Rama' director has handled the film extremely well and the way fans would expect Balayya to be presented. The film has Pragya Jaiswal as the heroine. Also starring Jagapathi Babu and Srikanth, its music is by Thaman.
