'Akhanda' is reportedly making waves in trade circles. The Nandamuri Balakrishna film, which is a mass movie, is said to have already earned a massive sum of Rs 80-90 Cr by way of theatrical and digital rights.
The film, whose heroine is Pragya Jaiswal, is directed by Boyapati Srinu. The Boyapati-Balayya combo is the reason distributors and digital players have vied for its rights.
Produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy, it was supposed to head to theatres in May. It will now pick a new date in September this year, most probably.
Srikanth is said to have played an arresting character in 'Akhanda', whose teaser is a bumper hit. Thaman has composed its music.
