Well-known character artist Murali Sharma was yesterday feted at the cultural event of the Kalala Kanachi Tenali, a cultural outfit. Producer and businessman Dasari Kiran Kumar, who hails from Tenali, praised the versatile actor, who was recently seen in movies such as 'Most Eligible Bachelor', 'A1 Express', 'Paagal', and 'Jathi Ratnalu', to the skies.

"In 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo', we couldn't take our eyes off from Murali Sharma garu's performance despite Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde being in the frame. Such is his outstanding talent. We are very glad to felicitate him and include him in the Celebrity World Records Book," Kiran Kumar said.

Sai Madhav Burra, the writer of such movies as 'RRR', graced the occasion as a founding member of Kalala Kanachi. He, like Kiran Kumar, hails from Tenali. Burra spoke of the talent of Murali Sharma, who comes from a theatre background.

The speakers thanked Murali Sharma for coming all the way from Mumbai to attend the event.
