Doctors register police complaint against 'Acharya'

'Acharya', starring Megastar Chiranjeevi and Mega Power Star Ram Charan, is directed by Koratala Siva. The other day, its special song 'Saana Kastam' was released. Shot on Chiru and Regina Cassandra (roped in just for one song), the song has courted controversy.

An association comprising RMP doctors has found fault with a particular line written by Bhaskarabhatla. The line goes like this: 'Ededo nimurochani kurraallu RMPlu ayipotunnaare.'

The doctors deem the line offensive because it suggests that RMP doctors derive perverted pleasure by touching beautiful women who visit them.

Sung by Revanth and Geetha Madhuri, the song is composed by Mani Sharma. The film co-stars Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde. It's scheduled to be released in theatres on February 4.
