Puri Jagannadh's anger is a lesson!

Last week, Bandla Ganesh went out of the way to please Puri Jagannadh and Akash Puri at the pre-release event of 'Chor Bazaar'. Ganesh boldly predicted that Akash will become a star in the future. He also flattered Puri by saying that he had made superstars out of non-entities. "Puri anna taught many actors dialogue delivery and all," Ganesh said in an attempt to over-praise Puri.

However, Ganesh also ended up angering Puri by trying to stoke controversy. The 'Gabbar Singh' producer suggested that stars like Mahesh Babu and Ravi Teja (without naming them) are not willing to promote Akash Puri's films even though they have benefitted greatly from Puri's earlier movies like 'Pokiri' and 'Idiot'. Ganesh also hinted that some people in Puri's life are there for self-serving reasons, unlike Puri's wife who fell in love with him when he was a nobody. Puri seems to have been upset by Ganesh's excessive speech.

After this speech, Puri's team put out a 'Control your tongue' podcast on social media.

It is clear that Puri didn't get impressed by Ganesh's flattery. He took umbrage to those portions of Ganesh's speech where the producer allegedly tried to offend a few individuals.

Film events shouldn't become a stage for stoking needless controversies. Some people in the film industry must learn from the controversy that those at the receiving end might react angrily like Puri.
