Kiran Abbavaram's new film witnesses a drastic collapse

'Sebastian PC 524' was released this Friday. The comedy-thriller reportedly witnessed utterly poor turnout right from the first day, first show. 'Aadavaalu Meeku Johaarlu' has given it a tough competition.

After the BO hit 'SR Kalyanamandapam' last year, Kiran Abbavaram's misstep in the form of 'Sebastian' is a proven disaster. The trade talk is that the film might not manage to mop up even 30% of what was invested by stakeholders.

For a thriller to work, it has to really be tight. 'Sebastian' has been panned by film critics. Most audiences have found its content and night blindness backdrop pointless.

Kiran has a slew of important films lined up. Mythri Movie Makers and Clap Entertainments will be producing a movie to be directed by newcomer Ramesh K. Geetha Arts (GA2 Pictures) is producing his rom-com 'Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha'. 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' producer AM Ratnam has also a film with him. There are a few other important projects lined up, including a rom-com titled 'Nenu Meeku Baaga Kavalsinavaadini'.
