'Major', which will be released in theatres on May 27, stars Adivi Sesh in the lead. The film is a multi-lingual action drama.
The film is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the 26/11 martyr whose birth anniversary it is today. "On the 45th birth anniversary of the 26/11 hero, the team of Major brings you a heartfelt reflection on his life," the makers said, releasing a video clip that pictorially chronicles the interests and emotions that surrounded Unnikrishnan's life.
The video is like a tribute. And we get a sense of how hard Sesh and the makers tried to make the lead man look like the man he is playing.
The film has Saiee Manjrekar as the heroine. Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murli Sharma have important roles.
The multi-lingual is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka. Bankrolled by Sony Pictures Films India, GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies, it has story and screenplay by Sesh himself, while dialogues are by Abburi Ravi. Sunil Rodrigues and Avinash Kolla have done the action choreography and production design, respectively.
