Telugu heroes should be ready for threat from Tamil hero

There is a Tamil hero whose stocks are rising in the pandemic era. He is none other than Sivakarthikeyan, who is currently not a notable entity among the Telugu audience but has the potential to pose a threat to Telugu heroes in the future.

The 'Remo' actor is going strong in Tamil. His last year release 'Doctor' and last week's release 'Don' have made him the only consistent relief in the pandemic-era box office history. As per a trade analyst, the return on investment that the two movies have made is exceptional among the films of Tamil heroes (at Tamil Nadu BO).

This is happening at a time when Sivakarthikeyan is doing a straight Telugu film. The same is directed by 'Jathi Ratnalu' director Anudeep KV, a proven talent. The fact that Narayan Das Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao and Suresh Babu are producing the untitled movie should also bode well for its Telugu version.

In 'Don', Sivakarthikeyan has nailed it with his performance. If the Anudeep directorial becomes a hit in Telugu, midsized Tollywood heroes will feel the heat! They are already having to compete with Vishwak Sen and Siddhu Jonnalagadda. Smell the coffee!
