'Thika Maka Thanda', which is slated to hit the cinemas on December 15, stars twins Harikrishna and Ramakrishna as heroes. A period village drama helmed by Venkat, the entertainer co-stars Annie as a debutante heroine.

Speaking about the movie, the makers said that its idyllic rural Telangana backdrop will enhance the visual feel of the movie. A song rendered by Sid Sriram has already been a hit. The teaser and trailer also have accentuated the buzz.

Producer Tirupathi Srinivas said that the twin heroes did the movie despite their busy schedules on the business front only because the story appealed to them a great deal.

What is the USP of the subject? "What would it be like if a whole village forgets the past? What kind of problems would they encounter? That's what 'Thika Maka Thanda' explores with loads of comedy and a touch of emotions," the makers say.

The other day, the entertainer was screened for distributors. "It was a bold step on our part. They all liked the film," the producer added.

Rekha Nirosha, Shivannarayana, Bobby Bedi, Yadamma Raju and others are part of the cast. Co-starring Bullet Bhasker, Rocket Raghava, and others, the film's story is by BN Niroop Kumar, while the dialogues are by writer Venkat himself. Hari Krishnan (cinematography), Suresh Bobbili (music direction), Kumar Nirmala Srujan (editing), and Srinivas (art direction) have worked on the movie.
