Raashi Khanna doesn't need Telugu cinema anymore!

Raashi Khanna has gradually and silently moved away from Telugu cinema. Her second web series outing, 'Farzi', is streaming successfully on Amazon Prime Video. It started premiering on February 10. Directors Raj & DK of 'The Family Man' fame have cast her in an age-appropriate role.

The actress, after scoring flops like 'Thank You' and 'Pakka Commercial' in Telugu in recent times, must be happy with the attention she is getting in Hindi and Tamil. Last year, her 'Thiruchitrambalam' in Tamil was a big hit.

And now, 'Farzi' is fetching her critical acclaim. The News Minute, in its review of the crime thriller, said, "Raashi Khanna as Megha, an RBI employee also obsessively intent on ending counterfeiting, is a rare female character written with depth." She plays a Reserve Bank of India recruit who has "devised a cash-counting machine chip that can detect fake currency bills" in the series.

This happened after her first Hindi-language web series, 'Rudra: The Edge of Darkness', proved to be a decent outing. The psychological crime thriller is streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar.

She will next be seen in 'Yodha', the Hindi-language movie starring Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani. The film will release on July 7 in theatres.

With all this, does the actress really need Tollywood?
