Accident! Vishal says God saved his life on 'Mark Antony' set

Vishal's new pan-India movie is titled 'Mark Antony'. Featuring the talented actor in a heavy role where he sports a thick beard, the film is directed by Adhik Ravichandran.

The news is that the set of the film today witnessed an accident during the filming of an action sequence. Going by a video clip that has surfaced on the Internet, a heavy vehicle lost its control presumably after the driver failed to apply the brakes successfully.

The vehicle was intended to stop after hitting a wall. The wall crumbles and yet the vehicle doesn't come to a halt despite the shot being completed. We then see people on set running helter-skelter to save themselves from a fatal accident.

Vishal thanked God for saving him. "Just missed my life in a matter of a few seconds and a few inches. Thanks to the Almighty. Numb to this incident back on my feet and back to shoot," he wrote.

SJ Suryah, the director of 'Kushi' fame, is essaying an undisclosed role in this action drama, seemingly animated by stunt directors Dhilip Subbarayan, Peter Hein, Kanal Kannan, and Ravi Varma. Co-starring Ritu Varma, Sunil Varma, Abhinaya and others, the film is bankrolled by S Vinoth Kumar. GV Prakash Kumar of the recent 'SIR' is composing the music.
