Congratulations are pouring in from all quarters. Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan wrote, "Congratulates to the team RRR for winning global accolades. Great pride for the Indian film industry - Telugu film industry's glory reach globally."

Not just celebrities but also film buffs are going gaga over the achievement. Wrote Vishal A Singh, "RRR will be spoken and written about for decades. We all had aligned our minds to celebrate mediocrity.. and then Rajamouli Sir told us what excellence is all about? It would be very difficult to digest mediocre stuff post-RRR era."
