'Pekamedalu', directed by Neelagiri Mamilla, stars Vinoth Kishan and Anoosha Krishna in lead roles. Crazy Ants Productions has released its teaser in the presence of Vishwak Sen.

Speaking at the teaser launch event, the 'Das Ka Dhamki' actor said that strong-willed people can achieve anything. "The posters and teasers of this movie are amazing." The 'Falaknuma Das' actor spoke about a recent controversy involving him and 'Baby' director Sai Rajesh. The 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi' actor was not ready to listen to the script of 'Baby' and it hurt Sai Rajesh.

Coming back to 'Pekamedalu', the film has been bankrolled by Rakesh Varre. Speaking on the occasion, he said that his first film was 'Evvarriki Cheppoddu', which was not initially successful upon its theatrical release. "Someone who I relied on didn't help me out during the release. The movie was screened for the media. Journalists told me it was so good. Reviewers and memers were very supportive. Young filmmakers like Tharun Bhascker and Rahul Sankrityan supported my movie. Even seniors like Koratala Siva and Sukumar praised our movie. That film was expected to die in the very first weekend. But it went on to play in theatres for 30 days. It is one of the most-watched Telugu movies on Netflix. Coming to 'Pekamedalu', the passion of the young team prodded me to produce the movie. I thought of completing it in one year. But just the pre-production alone took eight months. It took us time to understand the Old City ambience in Hyderabad. Post-production works took another ten months. So much effort went into making the movie," the producer said. He also sincerely thanked the film's important technicians.

With cinematography by Haricharan K and music by Smaran Sai, the fun entertainer has been edited by Srujana Adusumilli and Hamza Ali. With screenplay written by Hamza Ali, Sreenivas Ittam, and Neelagiri Mamilla, its dialogues are by Bhargava Karthik.
