Prabhas' promise means he has a strategy

Prabhas, speaking at the pre-release event of 'Adipurush' on Tuesday, made a promise to his fans. He said that he will be doing at least two films each year. "I might also do up to three films a year," the 'Saaho' actor said amid cheers from his fans.

Prabhas is going to be seen in 'Salaar', 'Project K' and Maruthi's film by the end of 2024. Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Spirit' is also in the works.

Going by his speech, the 'Baahubali' actor wants to speed things up further. If he has to do three films a year, he will have to work with experienced directors who can make entertainers within six months.

Projects like 'Radhe Shyam' and 'Saaho' took forever to be made but gave Prabhas inadequate payoffs. The 'Mirchi' actor realizes the pitfalls of doing long-gestation projects that eat up years of his career. After the failure of 'Saaho' and 'Radhe Shyam', he seems to have zeroed in on a strategy.

If Maruthi's entertainer becomes a big hit, it will prove that Prabhas doesn't need only high-end spectacles to do magic. Based on the film's result, he will eke out further strategies.
