At a time when Akhil Akkineni is expected to start shooting for his next movie, he has taken to social media to confess that 'Agent' was a bad film. In an unambiguous note he put out on Monday, the young actor profusely thanked Anil Sunkara for being his support system.

"While we tried our level best, the film unfortunately didn't translate the way we wished it would on the big screen. We couldn't deliver a good film for you," Akhli wrote about the Surender Reddy directorial, which was removed from theatres within 4-5 days.

The actor consciously thanked distributors, too. After all, they lost heavily as per some rumours.

"The love and energy you all give me is the reason I work and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will come back stronger for all those who believe in me," Akhil said as a parting shot.
