Recently, Kollywood artist Mansoor Ali Khan made offensive remarks for quipping about him not getting to share screen space with Trisha Krishnan in 'Leo'. The actress, on Saturday evening, reacted to the video, describing Khan's remarks as both vile and disgusting.
Taking to Twitter, the senior actress wrote, "I strongly condemn this and find it sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic, repulsive and in bad taste. He can keep wishing but I am grateful never to have shared screen space with someone as pathetic as him and I will make sure it never happens for the rest of my film career as well. People like him bring a bad name to mankind."
This is the strongest and most unambiguous hitting back at sexist remarks by any actress in recent times. Usually, female actors are asked to stay mum or hit back softly so as not to offend senior artists/technicians.
Trisha, meanwhile, is rumoured to have hiked her remuneration after the stupendous success of 'Leo'.
