'Mark Antony', the gangster fantasy comedy, is going to hit the cinemas on September 15. Vishal and SJ Suryah are playing the lead roles. Its pre-release event was held in Hyderabad on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, actor Sunil said that he never imagined that he would do a Tamil movie. He was recently seen in Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' as well. "Director Adhik Ravichandran taught me a lot during the filming of 'Mark Antony', which is the first Tamil film I bagged. Thanks to this movie, I have also bagged a few other Tamil movies. The director is absolutely energetic. Vishal and SJ Suryah are energetic throughout the day. That's a rare thing. When SJ Suryah is in the frame, nobody else will be able to make a mark. Such is his energy level. Vishal is as young as he was in 'Pandem Kodi'," Sunil said.

SJ Suryah said that 'Mark Antony' is going to be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. The Hindi version will be out on September 22. "I wanted to become an actor but nobody trusted me. That's why I became a director and then became an actor. Pawan Kalyan's 'Kushi' gave me an all-time high. I later did 'Nani' with Mahesh Babu. It's my unfulfilled wish to make a super-hit with Mahesh Babu. I will surely do it in the future. Coming back to 'Mark Antony', it is going to be a double celebration this Vinayaka Chavithi. Vishal has worked with so much love to ensure this movie's pan-India release. The very concept is new. The story starts off in the year 1995. A telephone takes my character to the past. Excellent screenplay and editing have been spun around this concept. The timeline shifts to 1965 and the editing has made the shift in the timeline very good. Both I and Vishal will be seen in a dual role. GV Prakash Kumar's music is amazing," Suryah said.

Vishal said, "It has been 19 years since I became an actor. By God's grace and the audience's support, I continue to do films. 'Mark Antony' is the most expensive film of my career. One crore rupees was spent on a song. It is producer Vinod who ensured the lavishness. Every cast member was cooperative. I have known director Adhik for eight years. Adhik's previous film was a disaster. When I teamed up with him for 'Mark Antony', some people in the industry advised me not to go ahead. I told them we are going to come up with something exciting. Asian Sunil sir is distributing our movie in Nizam. Shoban garu is distributing it in Ceded. Pawan garu and others are the distributors in other areas. Ever since the movie's theatrical release was out, many others came forward to buy our movie. We see Lord Vinayaka's blessings on us. Many right things have happened to ensure that 'Mark Antony' gains commercial buzz."
