It is rare to see producers gifting high-end cars to their blockbuster directors/heroes. Recently, producer Kalanithi Maran gifted luxury cars to the hero, director and music director of 'Jailer'.
It is the turn of producer SKN to fete director Sai Rajesh after 'Baby' grossed a monumental Rs 90 Cr at the box office.
The Tollywood film, starring Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, and Viraj Ashwin, was produced by Mass Movie Makers. SKN at first gifted an MG Hector car to the director after seeing the rushes. That was months ago. Today, he gave him a Benz.
SKN was convinced about 'Baby' becoming a cult blockbuster even before its FDFS.
"I will be producing Sai Rajesh's next two movies," SKN recently said. He will also be producing 'Colour Photo' Sandeep Raj's next two movies. A film each with Rahul Sankrityan ('Shyam Singha Roy' fame) and Vi Anand ('Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada' fame) are also in the pipeline.
