Two days into the release of 'Family Star', social media stands divided. No, not over the film. Everyone sort of agrees that the film is bad. Social media is polarized over Vijay Deverakonda. One section feels that a vocal section of Netizens is deriving a sadistic pleasure by mocking the actor's failure at the box-office.

Appearing on a YouTube channel, a social media influencer claimed that Dil Raju was warned about the impending "hate campaign" against VD by the actor himself. "The other day, I interacted with Dil Raju. He told me VD had told him to be prepared for a barrage of negativity," the influencer said.

VD has been perceived to be politically biased in favour of the BRS, which lost power last year. In an article headlined "VD should beware of political targeting', we predicted that VD must brace up for negativity if the ruling BRS loses the election. On voting day, VD openly said that his vote was for those who had "developed" Telangana in the past ten years. It was his way of saying that he had voted for BRS. You get the drift, right?
