Actor Gopichand is going to live up to his image of a Macho Star in 'Viswam'. The action thriller, whose First Strike (nickname for the first glimpse video) was released today, is helmed by Sreenu Vaitla. Touted to be a high-voltage action entertainer, this one is produced by Venu Donepudi of Chitralayam Studios.
The video, which shows Gopichand's character in the role of a sniper, ends with a line that underlines the anti-hero's characterization: “Daane Daane Pe Likha, Khane Wale Ka Naam… Ispe Likha Mere Naam…". This is perhaps the first time that a Vaitla hero is brandishing the machine gun with the aim of creating dread.
For the looks of it, the 'Rama Banam' and 'Bhimaa' actor is playing a character with negative shades. With cinematography done by KV Guhan, the film's music is by Chaitan Bharadwaj. Style and oomph can be expected from the 2024 release.
Gopi Mohan is penning the screenplay. The entertainer is edited by Amar Reddy Kudumula. Art direction has been done by Kiran Manne Gopi Mohan is joined by Bhanu-Nandu, and Praveen Verma. The fights are by Ravi Verma and Dinesh Subbarayan.
Recently, TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory joined the project.
