Director Srikanth Odela made his debut in 2023 with Nani's 'Dasara'. He is currently making 'The Paradise' with Nani in the lead.
His third movie will be with Megastar Chiranjeevi. SLV Cinemas is reportedly going to bankroll this one.
Admittedly, Odela is a fan of the legendary actor. He is one of the few young directors to have managed to bag a film with Chiru. In recent times, 'Bimbisara' director Vasisshta Mallidi is the only other one to have got such an opportunity. 'Saaho' fame Sujeeth and 'Bheeshma' fame Venky Kudumula tried their best for such an opportunity but they failed to.
Srikanth Odela won the 69th Filmfare Awards South and the 12th South Indian International Movie Award in the Best Director category for 'Dasara'. 'The Paradise' will hit the cinemas in the second half of 2025.
Chiranjeevi's next is 'Vishwambhara'. Its release date is yet to be locked.
