Actress Rashmika Mandanna, while promoting her Bollywood release Chhaava, has identified herself as a Hyderabadi. "I am from Hyderabad. I have come alone and today I hope I am a part of all your family," she told the crowds while promoting Chhaava.
Predictably, the speech hasn't gone down well with the Kannada audience. Rashmika started her journey in Sandalwood. After Chalo and Geetha Govindam in Telugu, she had no reason to do Kannada films. Sandalwood doesn't excite any artist, thanks to its mostly uncreative content. Rashmika, after Animal and Pushpa 2, is a pan-Indian actress.
Rashmika might have called herself a Hyderabadi because she is planning to settle down in the city. Also, she is seeing a Telugu star and will get married to him sooner than later.
Rashmika is also doing The Girlfriend and Rainbow. The star heroine is expecting that Chhaava takes off slowly and surely in Hindi.
