Revathi's husband, Bhaskar, has been wanting to withdraw his police complaint against Allu Arjun in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. He had included the actor's name in his complaint lodged a day after the incident. The Pushpa 2 actor has been named as A11 in the FIR. Earlier this week, the actor was questioned by the police for more than two hours.
Although Baskhar has stated more than twice that he doesn't want to hold Allu Arjun responsible, he can't withdraw his complaint at this stage. The police have said that it is not legally tenable in cases involving the death of a person. Had Revathi not died and her son not been injured critically, the withdrawal would have been possible.
On Friday, Allu Arjun appeared virtually before the Nampally court following the conclusion of his two-week judicial remand. The next hearing is scheduled for Monday (December 30). The court has granted permission for the Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo actor to appear virtually from his residence, considering the potential security challenges involved.
