'Guntur Kaaram' Trailer Review: Mahesh Babu is a live-wire!

In the trailer for 'Guntur Kaaram', Mahesh Babu doesn't stop mouthing lines with loads of attitude. His swag and voice are ever-present in the more than 160-second-long trailer that shows the rest of the cast merely reacting to his aggressiveness.

The live-wire that he is, Ramana 'gaadu' has his task cut out after his reunion with his estranged family. Ramya Krishna plays his mother, while Sree Leela seems to have only a tertiary role. Rao Ramesh, Jagapathi Babu and Brahmaji are seen in different roles, with the first of them performing the function of sentimentalizing the hero's heroism. Prakash Raj is up for some top-tier attacks.

Director Trivikram Srinivas has ostensibly adopted a loud approach this time. Everything hinges on the 'Khaleja' of the hero, who is determined to teach his family's rivals the lesson of their lives. Thaman has to do the heavy lifting, especially given the sky-high expectations.

With cinematography by PS Vinod and editing by Navin Nooli, the film's art direction is by AS Prakash. Produced by S Radha Krishna (Chinababu) of Haarika & Hassine Creations, the mass entertainer will hit the cinemas on January 12.
