RK Sagar-starrer 'The 100' is yet to hit the cinemas but it has already got a feather in its cap. The cop thriller, directed by Raghav Omkar Sasidhar, has bagged the Honorable Jury Mention Award at the 14th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival 2024 held in New Delhi the other day.

In a statement, producers Ramesh Karutoori, Venki Pushadapu and J Tharak Ram expressed delight at the recognition. Kria Film Corp and Dhamma Productions are proud of their onscreen character Vikrant IPS, played by Sagar of 'Mogali Rekulu' fame. The makers implied that the award was a shot in the arm. It came just days after Anjana Devi, the mother of Megastar Chiranjeevi, unveiled the film's riveting teaser.

The buzz is great and the makers hope that their film continues to amass accolades at prestigious film festivals. This early acclaim bears testimony to the film's caliber and promise.

The film's motion poster was released recently by former Vice-President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu. Its music is by Harshavardhan Rameshwar of 'Animal' fame. Vijay Master and Dragon Prakash Master have composed the fights. Misha Narang, Dhanya Balakrishna, Giridhar, Anand, Lakshmi Gopal Swamy, Kalyani Natarajan, Bala Krishna, Jayanth, Vishnu Priya and others are part of the cast. Shyam K Naidu is the cinematographer.
