Kota Srinivasa Rao casts his vote, looks too infirm and ill

Veteran artist Kota Srinivasa Rao hasn't been doing films like before. He has been selective for the past decade in choosing roles. On Monday, Kota was spotted at the Film Nagar Cultural Centre in Hyderabad to exercise his voting right.

He could be seen walking with the support of an aide at the polling booth. He has been too infirm and his mobility issues have been affected due to age.

Last year, appearing at an event, he said that NT Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Superstar Krishna, Sobhan Babu, and others never publicly spoke about how much remuneration they used to take home. "These days, though, heroes are talking about their fees publicly, saying they are charging Rs 2 Cr or Rs 6 Cr per day. This is not good practice," Kota said. The senior actor also criticized the practice of looking at the age gap between onscreen actors. "Nobody commented on the age gap between NTR and Sridevi those days. People were only interested in the characters and performances," Kota opined.
