Kiran Abbavaram's latest film, KA, is running to packed houses. The opening day collections were an impressive Rs 6.18 crores, and the momentum only grew from there. Day 2 saw a stronger performance, with packed shows and positive word of mouth pushing the worldwide gross to Rs 13.11 crores.
Trade analysts are already hailing the film as a Diwali winner, and the film's popularity is evident in the strong advance bookings and impressive walk-in audiences. The film is also trending on BookMyShow, with tickets selling out rapidly.
Speaking today at an event, the makers said positive reviews from the audience have been flowing in from various quarters. Director Sujith thanked distributor-producer Vamsi Nandipati on the occasion. "The Telugu audience have given us a memorable gift this Diwali," he added. Director Sandeep added, "Vamsi garu has proven to be a lucky distributor for us. The direction team behind us has been of great help. We tried to do our best within the allocated budget."
The film stars Nayan Sarika, Tanvi Ram, Balagam Jayaram and others. Its music is by Sam CS.
