Yash Puri, who played the lead role in the February 2025 release 'Happy Ending', comes with a passion for acting. After doing movies like 'Alanti Sitralu', 'Shaakuntalam', and 'Cheppalani Undi', he is diversifying his choices.
Most recently, the Hyderabad-based actor was seen in the Amazon Prime Video web series, 'Citadel - Honey Bunny', headlined by Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan. Yash Puri plays an important role in the acclaimed series. He plays Pratapa Rudra Raj, Honey's half-brother, Honey being Samantha herself.
"The experience of working on the series has elevated my acting career. I thank writer Sita Menon for the opportunity, actress Samantha for her support, and director-duo Raj and DK for their guidance. I will always cherish the chance to work alongside powerhouse performers like Samantha and Varun and brilliant directors such as Raj and DK," he added in a social media post.
"I love commercial cinema. Before I do larger-than-life cinema, I must first build up to that phase slowly. I would not look believable in a hyper-action film as things stand," he said in an interview earlier this year.
