Director Mohanakrishna Indraganti's 'Sarangapani Jathakam' is fast finishing its post-production works. The film will head to theatres on December 20.
Its Teaser shows Priyadarshi's character as a clueless and under-confident who takes to astrological predictions like fish to water. A coming-of-age slapstick, dialogue-driven dramatic comedy entertainer, the film stars Roopa Koduvayur as the heroine. But more than the female lead, it is Vennela Kishore and Viva Harsha who might be more important.
Middle-aged characters are given good screen time in Indraganti's movies. VK Naresh, Tanikella Bharani, Srinivas Avasarala and Vadlamani Srinivas are playing important roles.
Releasing the Trailer, actor Vijay Deverakonda personally wished Priyadarshi all the best. "He has been landing interesting projects," VD said, referring to films like 'Balagam', 'Jathi Ratnalu' and 'Mallesham'.
The film is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, with music by the talented composer Vivek Sagar. Sivannarayana, Ashok Kumar, Raja Chembolu, Pradeep Rudra, Kalpalatha, and Roopa Lakshmi are playing different roles in 'Sarangapani Jathakam'. The stunts are by the Venkat-Venkatesh duo. Raveender of 'Radhe Shyam' fame is the production designer.
