Red Giant Movies, owned by Udhayanidhi Stalin (the current Deputy CM of Tamil Nadu), is distributing 'Vettaiyan' in Tamil. Since Stalin and Pawan Kalyan are political rivals (in the wake of their open tussle over Sanatana Dharma), a section of online Telugus is questioning the Tamil-language title.
'Thangalaan' and 'Raayan', among others, have also had Tamil titles for all languages. 'Sathyam Sundaram' recently was an exception.
'Vettaiyan', starring Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati and others, will hit the cinemas on October 10.
