Bollywood has made two major announcements within a span of a few hours. The first one is a sequel to the 2018 folk horror film 'Tumbbad'. Producer Sohum Shah, making the exciting announcement today, assured the fans of the movie that the sequel will "dig deeper into the theme of greed". Sohum Shah Films timed the announcement during the re-release of 'Tumbbad' in theatres. The first part starred Sohum Shah himself in the lead. The sequel, he said, will come with "bigger twists and a more intense exploration of what happens when greed knows no limits."
The other announcement is 'Love And War', to be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. This one will be led by Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal. It will hit the cinemas on March 20, 2026.
Both 'Tumbbad 2' and 'Love And War' are expected to be made on high budgets.
