Allu Arjun's movie with Atlee is in such a scenario. As per certain unverified media reports, the film's budget is Rs 800 Cr. The baseless speculation has surfaced in the wake of the untitled movie's announcement video catching everyone by surprise. America-based VFX artists and technicians are working on this one. The genre is also a rare one, reportedly.
But would Sun Pictures invest Rs 800 Cr? The figure is too astronomical. It is estimated that Allu Arjun and Atlee, between them, will be pocketing about Rs 400 Cr.
In the case of Pushpa 2, Bunny made Rs 300 Cr because he opted for a revenue-sharing model besides upfront remuneration. He can earn a similar figure on Atlee's movie if he has a similar arrangement AND the movie's pre-release business deals match Pushpa 2. But Pushpa 2 was a sequel.
