Netflix shelves Arnold Schwarzenegger's action-comedy series

Netflix has canceled Arnold Schwarzenegger's action-comedy series, Fubar, after two seasons. The decision to shelve the show appears to be due to a shocking drop in viewership for its second season. While the first season, released in 2023, was a minor hit for the streaming service, the second season failed to attract a similar audience.

Many prominent actors have ventured into streaming with mixed results. The streaming landscape is highly competitive, and a show's success often depends on factors beyond the star power of its lead actor, including critical reception, writing, and the time gap between seasons.

Arnold Schwarzenegger's recent work has primarily been focused on his return to acting in television and film projects. Looking ahead, Schwarzenegger is set to appear in the upcoming action film Kung Fury 2, which is a sequel to the 2015 movie Kung Fury.
