KVN Productions, in collaboration with Thespian Films, is set to make its grand debut in the Malayalam film industry with the film Balan. The project, a massive undertaking, was recently launched with a traditional pooja ceremony, and the first schedule of shooting is already underway. The first look poster for the film has been officially unveiled.
The movie is directed by Chidambaram S Poduval, the acclaimed filmmaker behind Manjummel Boys. The script is penned by Jithu Madhavan, known for his directorial work on the recent blockbuster Aavesham.
The film is being produced by Venkat K Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fen.
The technical crew for Balan includes some of the industry's most respected talents. The film's visuals will be captured by cinematographer Shyju Khalid, while the editing will be handled by Vivek Harshan. The music for the film is composed by Sushin Shyam. The project is a collaboration between KVN Productions, which is stepping into the Malayalam industry for the first time, and Thespian Films.
KVN Productions is a prominent film production and distribution company based in Bengaluru. Founded in 2020 by Venkat K. As for director Chidambaram, his Manjummel Boys collected Rs 240 Cr. It was made on a budget of Rs 20 Cr.
