Following the release of Suvvi Suvvi from OG, fan theories have started coming in. It is speculated that Priyanka Mohan's character either gets killed or dies due to a terminal illness.
"There is a clear sense of pathos in Thaman's music for Suvvi Suvvi. Director Sujeeth must have asked him to go for a subdued mood since Priyanka's character Kanmani is on the verge of death in the story," a movie buff presumes.
A Rediff discussion has a humorous take on the cause of death. "The heroine's death in such stories is a foregone conclusion. Just that it shouldn't be due to cancer, as that would look too old-fashioned for a Power Star-led gangster drama. "But since the movie's story is set in the 1990s, that wouldn't be too old-school," a cine-goer added.
Since there is a rumour that Pawan Kalyan's character remerges in Mumbai to avenge the murder of his beloved wife, it is possible that Emraan Hashmi's character is responsible for her death. In that case, the gory death could be the immediate next scene after Suvvi Suvvi. But knowing Sujeeth's Saaho and Run Raja Run, his screenplay follows an unpredictable path.
OG, produced by DVV Entertainment, will head to theatres on September 25.
