Streaming platform Aha has announced its latest foray into the crime-thriller genre with the launch of the web series, Dhoolpet Police Station. The series takes place in the backdrop of ego battles in a police station.
The investigative thriller features popular actors Ashwin Kumar and Guru Lakshman in powerful roles as police officers, supported by key performances from Padine Kumar, Sreethu Krishnan, and Preethi Sharma. Strong character dynamics are assured.
Set against the raw backdrop of Dhoolpet, the narrative involves a world of wild and unpredictable crime cases. "Set aside your egos and solve the three murder cases within a week," a senior tells two warring cops.
Utilizing a unique narrative style and a long-format episodic structure, Dhoolpet Police Station is positioned to become one of the most addictive investigative thrillers on regional OTT. The series adopts a weekly release pattern to maintain viewer excitement, with new episodes dropping every Friday at 7 PM, exclusively on aha.
