Appearing on a podcast recently, actor Naga Chaitanya commented that publicity costs on PR have to be incurred no matter what. He said that PR has become indispensable these days. PR, standing for Public Relations, is a fact of life across film industries in the whole world.
Naga Chaitanya suggested that most actors spend about Rs 2-3 lakhs per month on PR. (This must be higher for some big heroes). The actor indicated that, without PR, even a project like Thandel can face negative consequences regardless of the content.
The Manam and Fidaa actor, in the interview, also reflected on his divorce from Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Saying that he comes from a "broken family" himself, he said that he knows the repercussions of a divorce and that he carefully considered everything 1000 times before opting for divorce. Naga Chaitanya has been married to Sobhitha Dhulipala since last year.
