Adivi Sesh is doing two films these days. Dacoit: A Love Story is the first one. Shruti Haasan was supposed to be its heroine. Sesh replaced her with Sita Ramam and Hi Nanna fame Mrunal Thakur for unknown reasons. The film's glimpse was released recently.
Sesh is also doing G2, an espionage thriller set partly in Europe. The film was supposed to feature a foreign actress of Indian origin. Banita Sandhu of Sardar Udham (Hindi) and Adithya Varma (Tamil) fame was roped in for the role. She has been replaced by Wamiqa Gabbi, a recent Internet crush. Did Sesh have to replace Banita due to dates issues, considering G2 got delayed by several months? Looks like the case.
In the case of Shruti Haasan, it was speculated that Sesh didn't like her attitude on set. Although Sesh is not directing the two movies, he has a say in everything, as the creative force behind them.
Dacoit and G2 will head to theatres later this year. The success of these films is crucial for Sesh's stardom.
