Coffee With A Killer is an experimental thriller directed by RP Patnaik, who has previously wielded the megaphone for Broker and Manalo Okadu. Starring Temper Vamsi, Satyam Rajesh, Srinivas Reddy, Banerjee, Ravi Babu and many others, the film has arrived on Aha.
The actors who did the movie were kept in the dark about the story of the movie. Director RP Patnaik said that the fundamental thought behind the movie was that it shouldn't have a conventional lead pair. His brother, Gautham, has supervised the project. Patnaik added that he couldn't have imagined anybody else in the lead role other than Temper Vamsi. While the film has no hero-heroine trajectory, there is an antagonist.
Although many urged the makers to opt for a theatrical release, the makers chose to release it on Aha.
Talking about the film, actor Ambati Srinu thanked Patnaik for offering him an "amazing role". He added that the viewing experience would befit the title. Producers Satish and Gautham Patnaik also came in for appreciation.
Actress Shree Rapaka thanked RP Patnaik, saying that doing the film under his direction was a learning experience. Temper Vamsi, who has a prominent role in the movie, spoke about its highlights.
Gemini Suresh has played the role of a coffee shop manager. "The entire story revolves around my character. To find out who the killer is and who they target, you must watch the film on Aha. This film is unique because it brings together many veteran comedians of Telugu cinema after a long time," he added.
Producer Satish said that the concept of Coffee With A Killer is unique. "Tirumala Naag’s dialogues are excellent, and Srinivas Reddy’s role will be spectacular. We focused on a solid concept-driven story instead of a film packed with songs and action," he added.
Srinivas Reddy said that the film is unique in terms of its concept and dialogues. "RP sir is not just great to work with but also a fantastic person to be around," he added.
