Colour Photo was fronted by Suhaas and Chandini Chowdary, with Sunil playing the antagonist. Debutant director Sandeep Raj wielded the megaphone. It was a direct-to-service release on Aha Video.
The team behind the acclaimed movie received the Gaddar Award in the Second Best Feature Film Award category at Saturday's TGFA event. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy handed over the prestigious award. The release happened in the year 2020 during the COVID-induced lockdown. Writer-producer Sai Rajesh led the team on the occasion.
This was not the first honour to grace the sensible movie. It has previously won a National Award in the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in the Telugu category.
The film's success meant that Suhas' career took off like anything. Also, buoyed by its success, Sai Rajesh went on to direct and produce the blockbuster 2023 movie, Baby. Chandini Chowdary has since acted in movies like Gaami. Director Sandeep Raj is currently making Mowgli with Roshan Kanakala in the lead.
