In August last year, the HYDRAA razed the N-Convention center in Madhapur. Owned by Nagarjuna Akkineni, the center was targeted by the Telangana government on the grounds that it was an "illegal" construction near the Tummidikunta lake. After the incident, neither Nagarjuna nor Revanth Reddy made any public statement on the matter. Recently, Nag and Amala personally called on Revanth Reddy to invite him to their son Akhil's wedding reception.
On Saturday, the Chief Minister revealed that Nagarjuna voluntarily surrendered two acres of his N-Convention land after the demolition. "He told me that, as an actor, he was all for my government's drive to make Hyderabad a better place. He voluntarily came forward to hand over his two acres to the government," Revanth Reddy said.
Nagarjuna's most recent theatrical release, Kuberaa, is a hit in Telugu and a disaster in Tamil. Rajinikanth's Coolie has him in a negative role.
