Karnataka Congress MLA Ravikumar Gowda Ganiga today said that Rashmika Mandanna didn't attend a film festival event last year despite repeated invites. He said that the actress didn't care to attend the event even though she had started her career in Sandalwood many years ago.
"Rashmika refused to attend the International Film Festival last year when we invited her. I have also learned that she is happy to have a house in Hyderabad and that she doesn't know where Karnataka is," the MLA said.
The MLA claimed that an MLA belonging to the Congress party happened to visit Rashmika's residence nearly a dozen times to extend the invite to the festival. "Yet, she refused and even disregarded Kannada. She grew up here. It is time to teach her a lesson," the MLA said.
Rashmika Mandanna was most recently seen in the Hindi-language blockbuster, Chhaava. The film will be released in Telugu with the same title on March 7th by Geetha Arts. Vicky Kaushal is its hero.
