The first song from The Raja Saab was released on Sunday evening. Speaking on the occasion, Maruthi said that he feels blessed to have got to work with Prabhas just by taking inspiration from him and getting excited by his mere presence. Describing himself as a student of the "Rebel University", the filmmaker added that Prabhas' hard work on Rebel Saab song was immense. "If the movie is coming out for the Sankranthi festival, it's only because of producer Vishwa Prasad's efforts and insistence that the film has to be released for Sankranthi. He was insistent even though some distributors submitted to us that they wouldn't be able to pay the specified rates," Maruthi said. "I can assure the fans out there that I will exceed your expectations at least by 1%. The amount of energy you are going to experience when you watch the film will undo all the disappointments over content delays so far," the Prahti Roju Pandage maker added.
Producer TG Vishwa Prasad said that the Day 1 collections will be record-breaking. "We are going to surprise you all with a grand release. Fights, dances, horror and grand visuals will define this film. Rebel Saab song involves about 800-1000 dancers. I think Prabhas garu has worked the maximum number of days on our film," he added.
Creative Producer SKN likened The Raja Saab to a Maharaja Thaali, complete with a variety of desserts. "No matter what, this is going to be a blockbuster. I got a high watching Prabhas garu on sets, every single day. On one occasion, he danced in -10 degree celsius. My eyes welled up seeing him dance the way we have always wanted him to. There is an intro song, a song with three heroines... The Raja Saab has romance, muddu mucchata and everything you have been missing in Prabhas' movies," SKN said.
The Raja Saab will be released with midnight premieres on 8 January 2026.
