Prabhas' 'Raja Saab' is directed by Maruthi. Recently, the 'Prati Roju Pandage' maker said that the romantic horror-comedy will hit the cinemas this year itself.
People Media Factory has not been talking about the multi-lingual release much. Recently, for Sankranthi, the film's first-look poster was released. Nothing else has been revealed about the pan-Indian flick even though it has been in the making for too long. Why so?
Speaking to the media at an event related to 'True Lover' on Monday, Maruthi said that the idea is to publicize 'The Raja Saab' after 'Kalki 2898 AD' runs its course. "Before our film, Prabhas garu's another big movie is coming out in theatres. That movie has to be in the news (implied meaning of his words). Our movie will come in later," Maruthi said.
Thaman is the film's music director. Karthik Palani (cinematography), Rajeevan (production design), Kamal Kannan (VFX), and King Solomon (action choreography) are working on the movie.
