Pawan Kalyan today said that he would have delivered a blockbuster like They Call Him OG much earlier had it not been for his focus on society. "My concern has never been cinema, it has always been society. I did OG only to make my fans proud, only so that they could raise their heads," the actor-politician told a cheering crowd of supporters at a political rally today.
The Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh further stated that cinema is just about making money and that politics is his actual duty. "Politics are my primary responsibility. I chose the field as a patriotic person," Pawan Kalyan said.
Pawan Kalyan's next theatrical release is Ustaad Bhagat Singh, to be released in theatres in April 2026. It is directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Sreeleela and Raashi Khanna are its female leads.
