Sharwanand has had a sluggish year. So far, 2025 has not given him any reason to cheer. The first look of Nari Nari Naduma Murari was released around Sankranthi earlier this year. Starring Sakshi Vaidya and Samyuktha as the female leads, nothing officially has been heard about the project since then, except for a song release. Its theatrical release date remains uncertain, rumouredly because no streaming deal has been finalized. AK Entertainments' poor form is also a reason for the delay.
Race Raja, a sports drama, was supposed to be released in 2024 or early 2025. Since then, UV Creations has successfully released movies like Anushka Shetty's Ghaati. It recently started promotions for Santosh Soban's Couple Friendly. Sharwanand's movie, though, remains an unfinished project.
Then there is the Sampath Nandi directorial, titled Bhogi. Billed as a pan-Indian action drama, the project will reportedly be released only in mid-2026. Produced by KK Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner, the film co-stars Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayathi. A humongous set was erected for the project in Hyderabad for a long schedule this Summer.
To be sure, Race Raja and Bhogi are potential hits, given that their genres hold so much potential. Hope they get to lock the right release dates.
