Gothi Group of Companies head Ashok Gothi, who hails from Visakhapatnam, is making an action entertainer titled ‘Pidugu’ by introducing his son Vineeth as hero. Rama Mohan CH is being introduced as director through this film which is being made under Gothi Sons banner. Monika Singh is playing the female lead role. Vetaran actor Vinod Kumar is playing a key role. An interview has been given by hero Vineeth as his debut film ‘Pidugu’ is releasing on March 18. Here are the excerpts
Please introduce yourself to the readers?
I’m from Visakhapatnam. I did MBA. My father has utmost experience on real estate and building departments. I didn’t expect that I will become an actor. After completing my studies, I have looked after the business. I was trained at Satyanand garu in acting. I have given few dance performances in cultural programs in my college. I have received many prizes. My friends encouraged me to try in cinemas. That’s how I decided to enter into film industry. I can do dances and fights wonderfully.
Tell us about director Rama Mohan CH? 
I went through over 30 scripts before doing this film. I was very impressed by the script narrated by Rama Mohan garu. Rama Mohan gained experience in direction department by working at few prominent directors. He has crafted the film wonderfully. I love commercial films. ‘Pidugu’ is a commercial film with five songs and five fights. My father was very much impressed by the script and he turned into producer. We have not seen such a subject in the past 10 years.
Would you like to sum up your character in ‘Pidugu’ in couple of words?
I played Jai Srivatsava, a wealthiest guy. My role has four to five shades. After the love marriage, the twist in the story starts. As in the aforementioned statement, we have not seen such a subject in the past 10 years. The film will have all elements like love, comedy and action.
Tell us about your co-artists?
Vinod Kumar, Banerjee and Jabardasth gang have played in the film. As I have worked with seniors, I have learnt few techniques in acting from them. Acting with senior artists became big plus to me. Songs are receiving good response. I wish and hope that the film will become big success.
What are your upcoming projects?
I’m going to work with a top director for my next project. Right now, talks are going on. Details regarding my upcoming film will be revealed by the end of this month.
