'Unstoppable' is a full-on comedy with a coherent plot: Director Diamond Ratnababu
'Unstoppable' is heading to theatres on June 9. The comedy entertainer is directed by Diamond Ratnababu, who previously directed Mohan Babu's 'Son Of India'.
Described as a madcap comedy, 'Unstoppable' co-stars VJ Sunny and Saptagiri. Producer Rajith Rao has worked with Bittiri Sathi, Shakalaka Shankar, Chammak Chandra, Nakshatra, Aqsa Khan, Pruthvi, Posani Krishna Murali, Raja Ravindra, Raghu Babu, Murali Goud, Rupa Lakshmi, and others. Songs of 'Ahimsa' will click big-time after movie's release: RP Patnaik
RP Patnaik, a recipient of three Filmfare Awards and three Nandi Awards, was a star composer in the 2000s, having composed for movies featuring star heroes like Mahesh Babu and Uday Kiran. Besides directing films like 'Broker', 'Tulasi Dalam' and 'Manalo Okadu', RP also played a blind man's role in 'Seenu Vasanthi Lakshmi' as a lead actor.
After doing 'Chitram', 'Family Cirkus', 'Nuvvu Nenu', 'Jayam', 'Avunanna Kaadanna', 'Lakshmi Kalyanam' and others with director Teja, the composer now awaits the release of 'Ahimsa' this June 2. The film stars Abhiram Daggubati in the lead.

'Mem Famous' comes with uncorrupted, fresh treatment: Producers
Anurag Reddy and Sharath Chandra of Chai Bisket Films have produced 'Mem Famous' with Lahari Films' Chandru Manoharan. Sumanth Prabhas (also the film's director), Mani Aegurla, and Mourya Chowdary have worked with budding actresses Saarya and Siri Raasi. The film will hit the cinemas on May 26.
In this interview, they talk about the film, composer Kalyan Nayak's songs, and more. The film has seen Shyam Dupati (cinematographer), Srujana Adusumilli (editor), and Arvind Muli (art) working in different departments.
Geetha Arts is releasing the film in the Telugu States, while Sarigama Cinemas is doing it overseas. In Vizag, Annapurna Studios is the distributor. "People ask me about the director (Nandini Reddy) and the producers being female. I never go by the gender. Gender and competency needn't be seen as interrelated," Gautami says.

'Anni Manchi Sakunamule' ('AMS' from now) is slated to hit the cinemas on May 18. In this interview, producers Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt of Swapna Cinema throw light on the Santosh Shoban-Malvika Nair family drama.
They also talk about the persuasions that made them take up a series of landmark movies (read 'Yevade Subrahmanyam', 'Mahanati', 'Jathi Ratnalu' and 'Sita Ramam'). Saying that they believe to make themselves available on set so that decision-making is prompt, the producers say that cost overruns are only to be expected for most of the projects.
