Mithra Mandali has a lot going for it. It's a laugh riot during whose making the team had to work hard to handle multiple artists at once. On some occasions, there were as many as two-hundred people on sets. Many scenes in the movie will see the presence of numerous junior artists.
Actress Niharika NM, who has been a content creator on social media (and she has quipped that Reels give her more money than movies), plays a pivotal role in this buddy comedy. While there are rumours that her role involves a twist, she is tight-lipped about the same. In this interview, she talks about the experience of doing Mithra Mandali.
Mithra Mandali is directed by Vijayender S and produced by Kalyan Manthina, Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala, and Bhanu Pratapa. The project is bankrolled under the banners of Sapta Aswa Media Works and Vyra Entertainments. Additionally, the film is presented by Bunny Vas under the newly-founded BV Works Banner. The comedy entertainer will be released in theatres on October 16.
I landed this project before my Tamil debut, Perusu. Since the film was under production for a longer period, it is getting released in theatres after Perusu. I am enjoying the process of becoming an actor; it has been a delightful experience. Although I have performed as an influencer, acting in a feature film is still a different game.
Mithra Mandali offers a completely fresh narration. This is a full-throttle fun entertainer guaranteed to make audiences laugh heartily and leave the theatre feeling totally relaxed.
In Mithra Mandali, I play a relatively soft person. She is subtle in some ways. It was fun working with Priyadarshi, who is such a down-to-earth person. No matter how successful his films (like Court) are, he stays grounded. He is a fantastic actor.
I am looking at versatility in the film industry. Comedy is not the only genre of acting that interests me. Humour is something I can do even as an influencer. When it comes to films, I want to try out variety.
The industry is full of diverse experiences, and while outsiders may have their opinions, our focus must remain on the work within our own self-defined boundaries. For me, that means ensuring my on-screen presence is something my family can watch with ease. I want to take on roles where they won't feel awkward or have to look away when I appear. Setbacks do whittle down my enthusiasm for a while. But I recoup my morale in no time.
