ALAMWAR PRESENTS THEIR HANDCRAFTED SUMMER 2013 ENSEMBLE INSPIRED BY THE HUES AND TEXTURES OF THE BEACH

Hyderabad, June 8, 2013: The 'Clear Waters and Sea Shells - Summer 2013' collection is inspired by the hues and textures found on the beach. "This very special collection showcases soft muslin cottons that are hand embroidered and impressed with motifs of sea shells. Gauzy lien that reflects the transparency of water, coral that has Washed ashore...hues infused in to tie-dyed fabrics and. textured khadi cotton which reminds one of the light that reflects off the sand on a summer day," says Viji Reddy, the Designer and Founder of Alamwar Textiles. The collection features both Indian and western designerwear made from handcrafted.fabrics sourced from various parts of India. The collection was formally unveiled at her design studio in Banjara Hills on Saturday, 8th June with a fashion show featuring city models in her eclectic ensembles.
